We believe:

At Redbird Equine, we support the whole horse — and the people who care for them. With deeper insight, presence, and confidence, we help grow partnerships built on trust, understanding, and lasting success.

Our Philosophy

  • Clear, kind communication builds trust — with both horses and humans.
  • Horses (and humans) thrive when we honor their individuality — no two are the same, and our approach reflects that.
  • Every step of the training process matters — how we do things is just as important as what we do.
  • The human’s growth is just as important as the horse’s — because partnership goes both ways.
  • A horse’s needs must be fully met — mentally, physically, emotionally, and environmentally.
  • Pain, fear, and discomfort create blocks to learning. True progress begins with well-being.

How We Work:

We take our time. We tune in. And we collaborate closely — not just with owners, but with a trusted team of care providers. From bodyworkers and farriers to veterinarians practicing both Eastern and Western approaches, we believe integrated support lays the strongest foundation for lasting success.

Together, we ensure each horse, rider and owner is on a path that feels good, grounded, and sustainable — inside and out.

Every horse and human are different — and so is every training path.

FAQ's

We specialize in developing young Thoroughbreds for the track, but we also welcome personal riding horses, rehab cases, and those needing confidence, foundational training, or a fresh start. Every horse and situation is unique — and we tailor our approach accordingly.

Our program is holistic, intentional, and relationship-based. We care for the whole horse — physical, mental, emotional, and environmental — and work with a wide network of trusted providers to ensure each horse is truly supported. Progress is never rushed, and communication is always kind, clear, and collaborative.

It varies. Some horses stay a few months, others longer. Our goal is never speed — it’s readiness. We’ll work with you to create a training plan that fits your goals while honoring your horse’s process and long-term wellbeing.

Yes, and we encourage it. Whether you're local or out of town, we offer regular updates, on-site lessons, and coaching to help you better understand your horse and feel confident continuing the work when they come home.

Reach out to schedule a call or send an email — we’d love to hear more about you and your horse. This work is personal, and a conversation is the best first step toward creating a plan that feels aligned for both of you.
